How values are
worked out.

Every value in the guide follows the same published steps, so anyone can check our work.

  1. Only real, verified sales count. Completed sales in US dollars for an exact match. Asking prices and unverified sales are shown but never used.
  2. Shipping is separated and multi-item lots are divided per item.
  3. Each sale is adjusted to mint-like condition using the condition factors below, so sales in different conditions can be compared.
  4. Recent sales count more. A sale's weight halves every 12 months.
  5. The range is the middle of the evidence (25th–75th percentile), then adjusted to the condition you pick.
  6. At least 3 usable sales are needed. Fewer than that shows “Not enough data yet”, never a guess.
  7. Confidence is High with 8+ sales in the last year, Medium with 5+, otherwise Low.
