SquishyStar (“we,” “us”) helps collectors research and value their squishies. This policy explains what we collect and why.

What we collect

• Photos and details you submit for a valuation request
• Public community content you choose to submit (stories, sightings, exchange listings) — reviewed before it appears publicly
• Payment details for a Founding Valuation are processed directly by our payment processor and are not stored on our servers
• Basic, privacy-conscious usage analytics to understand what’s useful and improve the site

What we don’t do

• We don’t sell your data or your photos to third parties
• We don’t publish photos submitted privately for valuation without your choice to share them publicly
• If you separately opt in, reviewed valuation photos may be retained as private identification-reference examples and may be sent through the same external AI provider for future private comparisons; they remain non-public and you may request removal

Your content

Public submissions (stories, sightings, exchange posts) are reviewed by us before appearing on the site, and you retain ownership of what you submit. Photos submitted for a private valuation stay private unless you choose to share them.

Cookies

We use minimal cookies/local storage to support core site functionality and privacy-conscious analytics. No third-party ad-tracking cookies at this time.
